The Emergency Department at Coon Memorial Hospital (DHCHD) contains five beds including an OB/Gyn room, a pediatric room, and a 3 room bay. We are designated as a Level 4 Trauma ED with the state of Texas, and typically see about 420 patients a month.

     In order to treat traumas and major illnesses quickly, the ER is located near to lab and X-ray departments and is staffed 24/7/365 with Medical Practitioners and certified nurses.
